Pentacle Gerald Gardner Gerald Gardner (Right) Wicca, sometimes referred to as "The Old Religion," is a religion that honors Nature and Magick, and worships the Goddess and God, the feminine and masculine forces of nature. Wicca was first brought into the mainstream in the 1950's by author, anthropologist, and archaeologist, Gerald Gardner (1884-1964,) after years of research and involvement in multiple Witch Covens and Occult groups. The Goddess and God Wiccans worship multiple Gods, typically the Goddess and God. They can have different names, based on the group or solitaty Witch, but they are the Goddess and God. The Goddess represents the feminine aspects and forces of nature, and the God, the masculine. Goddess Symbol God Symbol The Goddess Symbol The God Symbol
